Gen 3: Why I like Gardevoir
Simply put, Gardevoir is beautiful. I played Sapphire pretty blindly—as in, I didn’t do any sort of research before jumping into it. Since discovering the usefulness of Psychic types in the 2nd gen, I knew for a fact I wanted a psychic type Pokemon. I’m pretty sure I was just wandering Route 102 just to train my Mudkip… and I came across Ralts. I caught it, and when I found out it was a Psychic type, decided to keep it in my party. And when it evolved into Kirlia and then Gardevoir… oh man. I was impressed. She (I remember it was a female) was beautiful! Then I wondered if males also evolved into Gardevoir, haha. Nevertheless I loved my Gardevoir and always had one in my team when I restarted 3rd gen games… and even in my WIP Platinum rerun!
